Charlie Martin

I was born in Coral Gables, Florida and grew up just north of Homestead FL. I am married to my soul mate (Mary Kay) for over 44 years. We have 3 kids and 6 grandchildren. After working in the family-owned wholesale nursery business for 50 years, Mary Kay and I have moved to Lake County to be closer to the kids and especially the grandkids.

I am an avid cyclist and love riding around the area lakes and rolling hills. Charity rides for MS or cancer are my favorite rides.

Being a real estate sales agent is a 2nd career, but Real Estate is not new to me. When Hurricane Andrew went thru our neighborhood, I was involved in building a new house, repairing, and remodeling of other homes.  While assisting my daughter in building an investment property home while she went to college in Tampa, it proved to be a challenge but, in the end, I learned a lot.  Over the last 10 years I have been part of selling over 45 acres of vacant land on 6 parcels. Mary Kay and I have even sold our house (structure) and watched it get moved to another property down the street and around the corner. Seeing a house go down the street brought the neighbors out of their houses. It is an amazing sight to see an 80,000-pound structure go by your front window. Mary Kay and I have recently finsihed building our "forever" home in Tavares, Florida. Building a new home has it moments of frustration,,,, I would do it again!!!!

My speciality is finding the right property for my customer's VERY specific needs.

Recently I was involved in finding a warehouse location in Apopka Florida for an agriculture supply company's expansion and helping them with setup and organizing the facility.
